In January of 1998, LONGWOOD purchased the rubber snowplow manufacturing and technology business from GOODYEAR Rubber Company. Today, LONGWOOD still manufactures rubber snowplow blades from the same rubber formulation and process. Our product provides flexiblity to conform to road surfaces without gouging expensive road surfaces. This means equipment can be operated at high speed without tearing up or damaging raised reflective highway markers. Other benefits include dampening of vibration from the road to your equipment., this translates into longer and more reliable service.
